Sea Turtle, Inc.’s Conservation Connection Teen STEM Summer Camp focuses on educating high school students in the Rio Grande Valley area of Texas about the importance of ocean conservation through STEM-related activities and lessons.

Through hands-on field experiences, participants in the camp will receive the motivation and knowledge necessary to change their behaviors and promote the conservation of Kemp’s Ridley sea turtles that nest along the shoreline in the area. Students learn about the importance of maintaining the marine ecosystem in their backyard and will help them develop the tools necessary to become ocean stewards.
