Global Status of Sea Turtle RMUs by Species

The maps below show all regional management units (RMUs) for each sea turtle species, as defined in the most recent RMU publication. The RMUs are color-coded to denote their risk/threat designation in CPP, and RMUs considered “Critical Data Needs” are outlined in red, as indicated in the legend below. Flatback turtle RMUs were not defined in the most recent RMU publication and were not assessed in CPP, but a map of flatback range is included for completeness.
