Together with its invaluable partners, SWOT is filling a critical gap in scientific knowledge and facilitating global sea turtle conservation.
We invite you to join us. With your help, we can ensure that SWOT’s vital work not only continues, but continues to expand, allowing us to confront new challenges with new solutions.
Sea turtles are among the most highly migratory animals on the planet, frequenting diverse habitats ranging from sandy beaches to seagrass beds, coral reefs, the open sea, and even the abyss. Saving these iconic reptiles means mobilizing an equally diverse global network of people. Scientists and politicians, businessmen and philanthropists, parents and children all must join together in order to safeguard the survival of these magnificent creatures and the special ocean places where they live.
