- Page 8 — Look for Mr. L within the cave paintings, near the top right corner of the photograph.
- Page 10 — Mr. L is turned on his side where black meets blue in David Doubilet’s photograph, near the fold.
- Page 15 — Look closely in the colorful coral at the bottom right corner of the photograph at the top of the page.
- Page 18 — Mr. Leatherback is hidden beneath this turtle’s back right flipper.
- Page 22 — Near the fold, about midway down the photograph, find Mr. L hiding in the crevices of the rock.

Page 24 — This one is tricky.Mr. L is peeking out from the folds of the
Tibetan woman’s shawl near the crook of her left elbow.
- Page 26 — At the far right side of the photo, Mr. L’s silhouette decorates one of the red barrels.
- Page 28 — Here he can be found on the large driftwood log near the fold of the photograph.
