Apply for a 2008 SWOT Outreach Grant!

APPLICATION GUIDELINES

SWOT will award five US$1,000 grants for communication activities using SWOT Report, Vol. III. Appropriate activities include, but are not limited to, community outreach projects, media work, educational activities, and advocacy campaigns with SWOT Report, Vol. III at the heart of each campaign.


Your proposal for this grant should be limited to three pages and should include the following information:

I. Project summary

II. Brief descriptions of
  • the sea turtle population and/or habitats affected
  • the hazards to sea turtles in this area
  • the target audience(s) of your project

III. Project objective and expected outcomes

IV. The specific role that SWOT Report plays in the project

V. Timeline for implementation

VI. Budget for project
(with specific details of how the SWOT grant would be used)

VII. Number of copies needed of SWOT Report, Vol. III*

VIII. Project coordinator name and contact information
(including complete shipping/mailing address)

* Copies of SWOT Report, Vol. I are also available.

Feb. 29, 2008


Grant proposals due.

March 31, 2008


Grant recipients will be announced.

Nov. 14, 2008


SWOT Outreach Grant projects completed. Final reports due.
